The Whipple “EL” is a perfect guitar amp that gives you everything you need in the simplest possible gig-ready format. The Whipple “EL” transitions seamlessly from warm crystal clear cleans into lush harmonically rich overdrive, offering an idea platform for any player. It has an incredibly full balanced sound with a big acoustic-like lows, and warmth all the way up. This is a seriously great sounding, easy to use, easy to carry guitar amp. There is only one knob, one 12AX7 preamp tube, one EL34 power tube, and one 5RA4 rectifier tube. The Whipple EL will make playing guitar a feel like a dream. Hand-built quality built to last a lifetime. The amp can also be run with just about any preamp tube, any power tube my other favorite is the 5881, and any rectifier tube that has 2 amp heaters.
This amp comes as shown with faun style tolex, cane grill, and black handle. 1×12” – 21.5lbs
